The ship accelerats forward

As they cruise, the canopy thins. They can begin to see the ground, which is covered in grass and the occasional patch of light brown dirt. Occasioanlly the cameras spot a small firefight happening on the surface, but nothing is of real interest until the cameras pick up a WW2 supply truck, turned over on its side and rusting.

It's a Borgward B3000, a medium supply truck used for the Wermacht during WW2. Scans show corrosion damage, plus large claw marks.

The scan widens, first picking up a Panzer IV Ausf. G, and then a Tiger I... four more supply trucks, and then a grand prize; a circular formation of various tanks, trucks, and anti-tank guns, positioned to maximize firepower and defense from the ground. Notably, some of the AA guns are aimed up, as with their singular 8,8cm flak gun.

There are no vital signs, other than a small firefight going on close to the site. And judging on the strange readings, the combatants are not human.

Heydon's geared up and ready by the dropship, or the rally point. He quietly waits for the Commodore to arrive, as with everyone else there.

Jack stands quietly with the others as well, though glances at Jane as she continues to load and unload her rifle.

The transport's bay doors close and is loaded onto a catapult. After a minute of waiting, the dropship is shot straight into space and flies down over to where vehicles and firefight is happening while the sol invictus follows from a bit high up.
