Angels Assemble (Camelot) - 2295 (Ongoing)

Darx checks his pad to make sure that this is really the right place, then looks for something that would indicate a camera, a voice transmitter, or anything that would allow communication. If none are found, he'd knock.

At knocking at the door, it opens to a large white room with 7 different people working. The room exterior has multiple computer screens with holographic terminals to allow for input. At the center was a single white suit of armor, some sort of power armor that had multiple arms holding it up, and obviously doing maintence to. One of the people in there was out of place and spotted easily. Izula was in her marshal uniform and walks up, saying "Welcome ladies, gentlemen, and sister to the Angel program. You each get two questions starting now."

"What are we here to do and, how did we qualify to do it?"

Izula says, "you were all selected by the oracle based on compatability to each other as a team and skill. You are here to be the first Angels and test pilots of the Angel armor. Your goal will be to push the suits to their limits and find any faults so we can fix them. Next?"

Andrea thinks for a moment. "What is Legion Azulon? And can you give a full list of specs of what these Angel armors are and if they're customizable? I don't want to run around in an all white battle suit, no matter how hi-tech it is."

Kyria waves. "First, hi, Izula, mom told me to tell you hi in case I saw you. Heh, guess she knew something after all... um, questions... will these suits affect psionic output in any way? I don't want to get limited in wire use. And... I think I'll save my other question for later."

Izula says, "Hi Kyria, and the two questions only applies to now. Psionic wise, power armor does not impede it but we currently have nothing to improve it. Its must like standard power armor, just much better. Now onto your question Andrea. You are all apart of normal Legions, but Legion Azulon is a special one. Currently it doesn't exist, but once the angel program is fully functional, we'll have multiple divisions of Angel armor operators who can form a small and highly mobile strike force. Expect to be deployed from anything to peacekeepers to Anti-terrorism operations during peacetimes. That's when the armor has passed this final hurdle though. Finally, each armor is highly customizable, each being able to be retrofitted and equipped for different jobs or preferences of fighting. Unfortunately, we cannot fit what you're imagining onto the armor at this time."

Andrea sighs. "You blow up a few things and suddenly everyone thinks that's all you're obsessed with..."

Kyria blinks. "Oh... um, ok. What kind of training will we need before using these suits?"

Izula smiles and says, "I said at the moment. You all should have standard training in use of the Personal Defense Suit. This works much like the PDS, but uses a combination of direct neural connection as well as nanites throughout your body to make reactions instantaneous. It can also induce that feeling of slow motion, though its more of making and helping your mind process information at a higher speed, coming to a conclusion on what you want to do faster."

Dierkau ponders for a moment before speaking. "I'd like a full list of the command and control systems of the suits, if possible?"

Ophelia nods. "I'd like to know how we're testing the suits. Obstacle courses? Robotic dummies? Each other?"

Izula says, "Well, it'd be easier to show you all. Come up to the one we're doing maintenance on." Walking over, robotic arms descend from the ceiling and begin to automatically open up the suit. Izula says, "Each suit will be tailored to each of your sizes for a nice snug fit. As you can see on the inside, there is no controls much like standard power armor. Instead of attempting to move with you though, your minds will be directly connected to the suit's systems. The Command and control system of the suit is your mind, and the suit will become little more than an extension of your will. And to answer your question," turning to ophelia. She says to her, "All of the above. If there's any slacking, I will issue live ammo during the training sessions against each other. Just ask my sister too, She knows i'll do it."

Ikekov speaks up now, asking, "Ma'am, What is my purpose here?"

Izula looks over to the Ikekov and says, "Opps, sorry. Lieutenant, you are here to be an angel too, don't worry. You'll be piloting armor specifically designed for A.I.s to inhabit."

Ophelia nods. "That was the only question, thank you, ma'am."

Dierkau grins, excited by this change. "Right. So, we're getting started right now?"

Izula says, "We are". She motions over to a door at the far side. "Inside there is the locker, armory, and outfitting Rooms. Go on in and get changed into what you find at your assigned lockers, unless your Ikekov. Ikekov, just store your main body inside the locker instead and wait for upload."

Ikekov nods and follows everyone else in silently

Dierkau and Ophelia heads into the single, unitary locker room. "Hahahahaha! This should be a real bundle of fun!" Dierkau remarks.

Uzoth blinks in surprise before quickly going to a locker off to the side and faces away from the girls, trying not to see them naked. It wouldn't be right he thought at least.
Ikekov seems not to care and stores his current chassis in a locker-turned charging unit.

Once they open their individual lockers, they would find suits like these in them

There was one for everyone, specially tailored to fit their body and be slightly loose at first, yet when turned on they tightened up for a perfect fit. The material used seemed like it could harden up or soften as needed, as well as absorb some shock. The backs were the most bulkiest, having most of the equipment it seems. Putting on the suits also gave slight stings across their bodies.
