Keinz, City in Jirmushi

Keinz was one of the two major cities close to the front lines and where X-01, Nidio, and Aurora found themselves at. The city, usually busy, is awfully..quiet. Not many civilians walk the streets, but plenty of armed soldiers do and the trio pass multiple sandbag checkpoints. Thankfully, they get past them without too much of an issue.

Aurora looks around at the preparations for the inevitable conflict. At the men armed to the teeth with dead looks in their eyes. At the menacing vehicles propelling black smoke into the sky.

"I don't understand... why do humans always fight like this? Is there something to be gained?"

Nidio shakes her head a little. "I don't know why humans do this. They are a violent race that will do many things for strange reasons. Money is one, control is another. They just fight. It's more than likely they will continue to fight... let's not dwell on that though. We need to find the airport."

X-01 frowns a bit sadly at that. She looks around curiously, but also slightly nervous and buries her face into nidio's back whenever an armored vehicle comes near them.

They find the airport easily, with what the traffic signs pointing the path to it.

Nidio drives into the airport area, wondering if there was any way she could transport her snowmobile on the flight.

The airport is packed with people waiting for their flight. With the outbreak of war, it's a major possibility that all flights could be grounded at any moment.

There isn't much of a hassle getting past security, with the staff simply eager to pass people once the equipment said they were a-okay to prevent a massive backup of people. Though, Nidio's snowmobile would have to be delivered by a separate flight just after theirs.

X-01 stayed really close to Nidio at the sight of all the people in the airport. Once past security though, she sniffs the air slightly and says, "I smell something nice..is there food nearby?"

Nidio sniffs the air as well. "We'll have to see. I could go for something myself. How about you, Aurora?"

"Oh... um, it's okay, really..."

Just then, her stomach emits an audible rumble.

"...Maybe I can have just one snack..."

Nidio laughs a little. After getting the snowmobile checked to go on a flight to their destination, she follows the smell to the food court. "Alright, here we are. Go ahead and see what looks best and I'll buy it for lunch."

X-01 smiles and nods to Nidio before grabbing Aurora's hand and says, "C'mon, lets go select something good Aurora! Everything here smells so nice..."

"O-okay...hey! Don't pull!" But despite the ice fairy's objections she probably is pulled to the nearest food counter.

X-01 drags her up to a line for a fast food place called panda express. She's slightly drooling from the smells of food, having never been given any good food in her entire life.

"...Um, what do you want? I can order the food for you," Aurora asks.

She looks at all the options and frowns for a second before saying, "it all looks so good... Can you choose for me Aurora?"

Aurora takes a look at the menu. "Um, I'd like an orange chicken with fried rice and mixed veggies please... o-oh, and double that order please!"

The man behind the bar nods and begins putting together their food before ringing them up and handing them two bowls filled with their two orders and some plastic silverware. he says, "There you go you two, enjoy your meals."

Stella just stares at the bowl and follows Aurora to a table.

Nidio's ears twitch a little at hearing they had ordered chicken and goes over to X-01. "Are you sure you want that? You know what chicken is, right?"

She nods and opens up the bowl once sitting down and awkwardly digs in with the plastic silverware, having never used them before really. The spoon was easy enough though, and she was starving.

Nidio sighs a little. "Okay then." She heads off to get some food of her own, also going to Panda Express and getting shrimp and orange chicken with noodles. After paying for it, she heads back to join them in eating.

When nidio gets back, x-01 has devoured all her food and is sighing happily. She asks, "wooow..I never dreamed there could be stuff like this out here.."

Nidio smiles. "Yeah, its pretty nice out here. Good to have some civilization in the frozen wastes." She begins eating her food with chopsticks.

X-01 begins to think to herself while waiting for the other two to finish up. She was free, but none of the others git to share in on this..and those who saved her originally were dead.
Depressingly, she sighs sadly and quietly wonders if she has any right to really be alive

Nidio glances at X-01 and how sad she looks. She frowns a little. "What's wrong? Everything okay?"

X-01 looks up and quickly smiles, trying to hide her pain again as she says, "I..I'm fine! Nothings wrong with me nidio"
