Subject: Alpha Centuarian Coalition Wed Oct 13, 2010 3:00 pm
This is what i shall be calling my faction for now until i can think of a better name Map of Centuari Prime, outline only of continents and islands.
Info:This faction is a combination of 4 old rival factions who constantly were at war with each other, that was 500 years ago. Five people took things into their own hands, and united the Alpha Centuari System. This unification is hard to keep for everyone thinks differently. Good thing is that the agruments and problems seemed to have vanished a 120 years ago for now... This faction is excellent in technology and anything that is considered a heavy unit. Their armored divisions are considered the finest in the 8 systems. They recently also have aquired the technology to make the power source for warp engines. The first human ship ever to go warp speed was the ACSS Peagsus. In space, my faction believes still in big heavy ships but also fighters. All of my ships have the capability to carry fighters.
Just a reminder to all-We have interSTELLAR engines (warp drive) not interGALACTIC. (don't expect us to be at another galaxy for a long time..)
Heavy Shock Trooper
Armament: G-06 "Shock" Railgun These are the elite heavy troopers that no one wants to fight. These soldiers are elite marines from the Marine corp. Their weapon is the 2-RA Shock Railgun. They also have a jump pack which allows them to more quickly transverse the battlefield, say jump over rubble or onto high ground. This jump pack cannot substain consistant flight, just short burst of flight. They also have an advance combat system which allows them to send messages to each other, and see each other on a gps system.
"Juggernaunt" Class Heavy Tank Since theres no good pics i can find for this tank, i'll give you a discription Apperance-On double tracks, as big as the mammoth tank, with a hexigon turret which has two barrels, side by side. This tank is one of the best tanks in the universe. This tank is so large, it can run over other smaller tanks and other vehicles! It has half the speed of the viper though. It also has a deployable Rocket pod to use against air targets. Company: Armament-Dual Barrel Cannon, Deployable MissilePod Upgrades- Juggernaunt Turret Refit- Refits the cannons with dual railguns (much larger than infantry and even more damaging, reload speed is same) (This upgrade makes it do more damage) 1020-V66 Engine (makes tank go a little faster...) Improved Targeting System (+range)

"Angel" Elite Infantry Suits/Mechs/Whatever you want to call it. Info: This was that prototype mech, which has many different versions. These suits are exspensive to upkeep and it takes forever to find a pilot for one. Reason being the crystal "Synthesis" into the power core, and a human must be present when this happens. The crystal might not like the pilot and not synthesis at all. Little does anyone know, crystal also causes extreme evolution. This means Angels shall be able to use Psionic powers. Armament: A lot of things, can even use weapons that are lying around or dropped. Numbers (how many there are currently): 3

Marine
These are highly trained marines, not as trained as zero's, but they get the job done. They come with Exoskeleton armor which greatly increases what the can carry. These units are great vs Engineers and storming buildings. They come in squads of 16 Upgrades: Laser designators, Deep strike, Fractured optical cloak thingy (not completly cloaked, u can see them if your 10ft from them), Storm building trainning, Composition armor upgrade, Marksman trainning, and m110 sniper. All the upgrades i can think of for now
Engineers
These infantry are great vs tanks and gunships while in cover or garrisoned. They are very weak no matter where they are against Riflemen type infantry (like marines) they come in squads of 16 Upgrades: Minigun upgrade (gives 4 of them miniguns and their special ability SAW fire)

Name says everything you need to know about this thing. TRhis can deploy armed UAVs in the heat of battle as well as some other things. Armament: 50mm Grenade LauncheR, Killer Hunter UAV (armed UAV), and detect most stealth within its LOS (line of sight)
The Viper Heavy Main Battle Tank
This heavy tank is the main battle tank besides the juggernaut tank. This has only 1/4 the damage of the juggernaut but deals more damage still than most other tanks of its class. Armament: 1 Main Cannon, 1 coaxial machine gun, 1 mounted heavy machine gun Crew: 3

Yes i love the name. This artillery is great at long range, but weak at short range. This is also very weak against gunships. If you played the game, gunships rain death on artillery. This artillery deals HEAVY damage, and doesn't need to visually see the target to fire at it. Infantry upgraded with laser designators can designate targets for the spartan artllery, further increasing its range.
Elite Company-32nd Mechinized (Assigned to the peagsus)
I have 6 unit ranks (not their actual rank, just experience) Recruit Regular Harden Veteran Elite Legendary (or Heroic) To use certain upgrades, units must have the required rank to use it. No squad will start above Harden. (still keeping this) (if ur going against legendaries, ur in for one hell of a fight)

WMD- Kenietic Rod Strike Info: The Defcon 1 WMD for the ACC is the Kenietic Rod Strike. This is fired from a satillite in orbit and can devastate armies. To use this WMD i must have costructed or captured a space centre and deploy the satillite. After each time fired, it must be rearmed via sending up rockets to dock and rearm it.

Info: This missile cruiser is armed to the teeth and can hold its own in combat. It has the same kind of armor when compared to the dreadlord. This cruiser can fire many vollies of missiles, and is designed to overwhelm point defence turrets. It also has some burster turrets to allow it to protect itself from all sorts of threats.

This is a field upgrade (using name in picture) which reconstructs the light dropships to carry more, fly faster, and have some form of defense. After upgrade, due to the material used, the radar signature is vastly reduced to the size of a butterfly.
Starwolf class Fighters
These fighters are the replacement to the falcon fighters. Speed:Fast Armor: Light Shields: Light Deflector Armament: 2 Twin Rapid Fire Railguns and a lot of missiles. Space-Atompshere capable?: Yes Atomsphere main role: Close air support. Good vs other fighters and ships which don't have fighter escort (ask zero what happened in a starfire rp when i used 30 wraiths and 1 bc against around 6-8 bcs and 15 scouts) (yes he went up against a starcarrier) (and his scouts where hero scouts, not artanis) Weak vs uhhhhhhh lets just say vs more skilled fighter oppenonts. Firefly Bomber
Info: These bombers are fast and lightly armored. Their armor is light compared to other bombers because survival ability in space doesn't depend on armor and how much rounds your fighter or bomber can take, for just one crack in the fighter or bomber could jeopardize the crew inside. In space, if your craft is shot, what do you do? Do you hit the ejection button and eject yourself into space? No, you blow up with your craft. Armored, slow craft in space is a recipe for disaster against fast fighters armed with missiles and rail guns designed to punch right through armor like a knife through butter. So this has many maneuvering thrusters like the starwolf fighter and can do a 360 in less than a second. This bomber payload isn't traditional bombs either, its more of a huge payload of missiles which are deadly against any kind of ship if the entire payload hits. These can also lock onto fighters and other bombers from a distance as far away as half a mile, but cannot lock on if target is within 1/4 of a mile away. Remember that a mile in space isn't huge. Lastly, this also transports a crew of demolition experts which takes the craft up to the targeted enemy ship, and lands right on it. Lets just say their demolition experts for a reason...Can also carry boarding parties to perform sabatoge actions against an enemy ship. Good vs Starships Bad vs fighters depending on payload.

Viper II MBT
Info: The new version of the viper tank has came out, to replace the fiffty year design. The Viper I is a very old tank which was used all the way back to unite Centuari Prime into the ACC. With the lost of earth and how easily the Viper I where demolished by the bigger more advance parasties, a new tank is needed. This is the final result of research. This tank is faster, more armored, and has more firepower than the Viper I tank. Armament: 195mm APFSDS/Tandem Warhead/HE-Frag, 2 rocket pods, 2 Heavy Machine Gun Turrets, 1 Corxial Machine Gun Good vs Armored units and most ground units Weak vs Ambush attacks from anti armor, and some other things.
"Ion" Class Heavy Support Mech
Info:This is their very first mech, and there are 4 versions of this mech. The one u see above is what they all generally look like, and is the standard version as well. This Version's mission is to support the infantry and provide cover for them to hide behind. Due to its size, it does this very easily. This version's weapons are also good vs about anything, but heavier armor takes a lot longer to take down. This also will shrewd slow moving air units like gunships. (or anything that qualifies) Good (well ok) vs all Weak vs Mass of heavily armored units

Raven Class AWACS (Aircraft Warning And Control System)
This is the latest AWACS in the ACC arsenal. This does what it name suggests, as its long range sensors can detect aircraft up to 15 miles away, and can also detect up to about 25 mile below it. Its systems can also aid in increasing the missile's accuracy and negate missile jamming within a half mile of it's location. This aircraft is literally the control center of an air attack, and flys high in the upper stratosphere, in low orbit. The raven concept promises less heat build-up on the airframe than previous hypersonic designs - a challenge that has until now limited the development of hypersonic aircraft. The raven uses the skipping motion of its flight along the edge a planet's atmosphere - much like a rock skipped across water. A Raven aircraft would ascend to approximately 130,000 feet - lofting outside the planet's atmosphere - then turn off its engines and coast back to the surface of the atmosphere. There, it would again fire its air-breathing engines and skip back into space. The craft would repeat this process until it reached its destination.
If this was flown as fast as it can, from LA to NY, it would take a total of 5 skips and a total flight time of 35 minutes.

This is a project which when it reaches the technology level required, will be able to fire rounds every 4-5 hours at distant planets which could be located in a different solar system. The rounds it fires, traveling near the speed at light, could level an entire city. It also can fire smaller rounds if we only need to take out a small target. This weapon is deployed when diplomacy has failed, and war is inevitable. Sadly the first version i'll be using in the invasion of earth won't be firing the round near light speed and will be in orbit far away, outside the parasite's defenses. So the rounds won't get the shatter an entire city effect, but still a direct hit will kill anything. Video below shows it when it is technologically advance enough to hit planets in other solar systems.
Edited, increased time inbetween shots to reload and recharge for the final version of this siege cannon. 1st version will not be firing rounds which can travel at warp speed, so it will not require long to reload.

Information: This Corps unit has been active since the eigth Alpha Centuari war which took place 15 years before the discovery of the crystaline/fusion power source which has allowed the invention of the Warp Drive. This corps has been well known for both its offensive and defensive strategy, and highly favor Blitzkreig and raids. They have often found themselves usually behind enemy lines, surronded on all sides. This corps was key to the victory in the Battle of Yukat where they were surronded on all sides, but kept precious enemy soliders from the front and allowed allied armies to break the defenses. Fortuantly, this corps was also not present when the allied armies ran into the matrydom nukes which the opposing forces used on their own soil. Radation is still present on the Eastern Contient where the nukes were set off.
Advantages: Many men are veterans of a previous war, Relies on IFVs and Armored tanks to achieve its lightning fast advance, comes with artillery Disadvantages: Their supply lines are usually overstretched when they are on the offensive, and usually they get surronded so their supply line usually gets cut off....

Armed with new powerful engines, this transport can keep up with the bloodhound transports now, but still has just a shorter range than the bloodhound transport. This was made to transport heavy equipment or a lot of equipment or etc to the frontline.
Titan Class Transport (name for now until better one is thought of)
Class: Deep Space Transport Armament: Some mass drivers and some more Point Defense Systems Length: 1080 Meters Info: This ship is the primary transport used to ferry large numbers of troops to distant planets. Polysilicate Alloys are an advanced kinetic–resistant material. Armament: 52 lb Railgun round, 1 Heavy machine gun Max Speed: 58 MPH Info: Recently developed to take on heavily armored units, the Scorpion excels at this job. Thanks to recent technological advancements in ballastics, the railgun has been outfitted on this tank. Thanks to this railgun, this Tank destroyer has amazing range and penetrating power. This tank destroyer is super heavy due to the fact it has a shitload of armor on the front of the tank and decent armor on the sides. This tank destroyer has no turret. This tank is extremely weak against masses of fast moving units.

The Alexis Naval Yard Station (no picture for) This naval yard station is built directly into the moon of Solon. This is esstientally a huge moon base which spans almost half the entire moon. This station is one of the oldest and most important station the ACC has built to date. This station currently is producing 20% of all ships leaving the Alpha Centuari system. This station is also able to support up to around 10 fleets or so at it's present size. It is formidabley armed and houses most of the ACC's fleets. History: Built just right before the Great Interstellar war that was between the two planets of Centauri Prime and Zoticus within the Alpha Centauri system, this station was first built as a radar instellation outpost. Quickly relieasing the value though of this moon's low G atmosphere, Centauri Prime quickly established it as the Naval Yard Station and began to build it up. Just as the war started, the station was completed and was one of the key reasons why Centauri Prime won the war. Since then, the base has been constantly upgraded, updated, and added to. It is 10 times the size it was when it was first constructed and it is only growing bigger every year.
