I thought this would be interesting if we posted any interesting locations to expand out RP ideas. Please give feedback whether or not this is a good idea.

Ruins of the Underground City
((Past))

Once a prospering underground city of an ancient, now-extinct race, the city has been destroyed and is now decayed and ruined. All the buildings are made of primarialy stone and partly metal, but very little traces of wood used in building construction.

The entrance is unknown, but is said that this city is within a long-dormant volcano. The entire city has a cold and haunting feel to it, and something just dosn't feel right...

It is rumored to have great riches and powerful artifacts, but most fools who find the entrance and wanders in often dosn't come out again...even if they do, they babble mindlessly about "Nonexistant beings", "City of Phantoms", and the most common of all, "Strange, flying orbs".

I know what you're thinking. The damn city is haunted. And you're correct. But, there's more than just ghosts in there. If you want to find out what, you'll have to go in there. There's three known people who got in, back out with their sanity *Fairly* intact, and with proof the city and its treasures exist.

One person came out with several, beautifully carved jewels. The second person came out with a map of the city's main floor. The third came out with an ancient, but still durable and amazingly sharp, weapon.

Anyone care to try? Nothing ventured, nothing gained, after all.

Sandstorm
=[Future]=

An artificial planet made by...well...nobody knows that answer. Nor the reason why the entire planet is covered in sand. It also has an artificial atmosphere, and revolves around an artifical sun...at least that's what the scientists say. The surface is what one would consider a desert planet, but if you look closer the grains of sand are actually grains of an unknown alloy. In other words, it is a complete wasteland, but the real spoils are what is under the planet...

Under the surface of the planet, explorers have discovered some seriously old buildings (Found in large caverns) and passageways that link them to other caverns. The buildings are very odd; from the outside, it looks solid; from the inside the walls have literly disappeared; yet the walls are still there. It's like a one-way mirror. The explorers' hypothesis is that there is a network of underground caverns, each which houses a number of buildings. Each cavern is about the side of a large town, but decending lower the caverns become bigger and bigger.

The risk hazard is ridiculusly high; Some groups explorers (About 10% of the total explorers) made it out with handfuls of ancient alien artifacts and treasure, other groups (The other 90%) have apparently disappeared entirely. How or where is not yet known.

The Boneyard
((Past))

If you don't like the undead, this should be the last place to visit during your lifetime.

The Boneyard lives up to its name, and beyond that. For miles this place is covered in aged bones, fresh bones, occasional rotting meat and the feeling of death. In this place, you can be guarenteed to meet skeletal warriors, knights, wizards, dragons, even titans and thousands of other creatures that has died over the countless years. There are even some skeletal creatures that cannot be named.

To make things even worse, the skeletal creatures slain here will merely reform themselves and get up again. The sheer amount of released magical energy in the Boneyard is enough to revive every skeletal being in the Boneyard a million times over. This can work both towards you AND against you, for all sorts of magical energy has accumulated up here, not just undead magics. The Boneyard is likely to be one of the areas with the highest concentration of magical energy.

With bad news comes the good news. The skeletal beings here are (Somehow) not under the control of The Shadow; several even have their own free will, though most have lost their sanity centures ago. This means that not all the skeletal creatures will attack you; some might just go on with their own scheduel in the Boneyard; it has literly become a necropolis of its own.

Since nobody has entered the Boneyard for mileniums (Due to the great pressure from the non-resting souls of the dead), it is unknown if the skeletal beings have made their own society in the Boneyard. This odd fact is just as likely as anything now.

Insane One's Sanctuary
Real Name: G-02
=[Future]=

Once a highly populated planet, this backwater planet after the long-forgotten mental syndrome known as 'mindrot' devistated the inhabitants of this long-forgotten planet. This mindrot syndrome was well knwon for a small period of time for a bruital period of four days of complete slaughter, now known as the infamous 'Mindrot Massacure', which ended 4 billion people's lives in fear, horror, and madness. Soon after recolonization, strange events began to occur. Within days of such events, the new inhabitants fled the planet.

This is a very barren planet. Nothing grows well and it is almost always cloudy. There are abandoned cities strewn all over the planet. Some are broken merely due to age. Others have been obviously destroyed by fires or some explosions. There is also very few hills, and absoloutly no mountains. 45% of the planet is covered in water, and the entire planet has this eeree feeling to it. Not the kind of feeling that someone's watching you, but more of a feeling that something is merely wrong. Something unexplanable. Something evil.

Either way, mindrot victims suffered for a very long time before eventually ending their own lives, if you're not dead yet. Mindrot is irriversible, and it is unknown how an individual contracts it. Oddly, mindrot disappears once the individual leaves the planet's atmosphere. However, if the individual returns to this planet the midrot will continue where it left off. It's an unexplanable phenomenon that continues to linger on this planet to this day. There is no name for this planet, but people who somehow escaped the Mindrot Massacure are known to named it the 'Insane One's Sanctuary'. Only those people can realize this syndrome's horrors, and what kind of hell happenned here.

This planet has many secrets. Shallow secrets, deep secrets. Harmless secrets, and secrets you'll never want to know...
