Otherwise known as the Elysium Chaste Protectorate

While the UEF battled the Sh'rrg and the HE riots within itself, several unknown ships began warping in and engaging the Sh'rrg. At first unknown and cautious, the Sh'rrg attacked the ECP after ascertaining the nature of their ships.
The ECP ships decimated the Sh'rrg forces with weapons beyond comprehension and unstealable. Nor are they in the mood for trading. Warping in from the IOK-1 Galaxy, otherwise known by its occupants as Elysium, the ECP have battled the Sh'rrg before as they were invaded by them. After repulsing the invasion, they went on a series of hunter killer missions, clearing their galaxy cluster. While in the midst of clearing the last one, the massive strike by the Sh'rrg was detected, and a task force was sent in, along with the materials to construct a forward command post and warp in the troops.

There is a permanent Class 4 anomaly, not unsimilar to the Perseus Veil from the Mass Effect series, which covers the IOK-1 Galaxy, separating it from the rest of the universe in way of messing up visuals and scans, however you can enter it. Transmissions and scans are non-existent or extremely garbled to the point of corruption from inside to out and vice versa.

The Perseus Veil in the Mass Effect series is a gigantic nebula of opaque gas and dust that separates Geth space from the rest of the Galaxy.

You can enter it, however you will lose all communications and virtual contact outside of the nebula. Comms do work inside the nebula but only transmittable inside the nebula.

The Elysium Empire announces a non aggression pact with the Helix Empire, completely bypassing the United Federation in their decision...although keeping Federation in neutral grounds, the Elysian Empire still maintains a rapid reaction force at all times, accompanied by their Sh'rrg cohorts.
Although many in the Empire quietly wonder why Mavra decided to ally with the Sh'rrg, no complaints have been voiced aloud. Several pro-alliance with the Federation groups have begun meetings with the collective UHEF assembly and are currently in the process of negotiating what seems to be a coup...
